I’m not going to post HBO’s Newsroom clips all night…but the show’s creator Alan Sorkin (of West Wing fame) has really drawn me in! Many of the things I (and many others) have thought about, he’s been able to put onto a script and get it televised! The show is hard-hitting, truth-telling and always leaves you thinking. It’s a refreshing change from unreal-reality shows. But I digress…
This video clips highlights how Americans (in particular the religious Americans) are able to finger point at atrocities in the name of religion in other countries, but seem to have trouble accepting atrocities committed in the name of gods right here on American soil. Shocking! Take a look as Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels’ character) redirects a question back to the interviewer and ‘schools’ her on what’s happened here…in America.
