Our June meetup will coincide with Michigan Atheists’ Godless picnic!!
According to Michigan Atheists meetup:
Pack your picnic basket – bring your day’s eats and something to share. We will provide cups, plates, napkins, forks and spoons. We will also provide a propane grill complete with FREE hot dogs and all the trimmings. And, yes, you may grill anything you wish – veggies, steaks, chicken or whatever. You may want to bring musical instruments, lawn games, table games, a lawn chair, bug repellent, a jacket or umbrella if it looks like rain (though we have a large pavilion). Very near our pavilion is a handicapped-accessible restroom. The park’s free Disk Golf Course is near our site and we have two sets of disks for your use. Don’t forget the kids as there is a super play area at our site. Plan to stay into the evening — we’ll have plenty of daylight. Join us rain or shine.
Note: All secular groups including skeptics and humanists are encouraged to bring their banners, signs, literature and meeting announcements.
